The work of the project starts with mapping needs and priorities of higher education (HE) regarding digital education and AI-supported tutoring approaches. The objectives include mapping effective AI tutoring methods and developing ethical guidelines for AI implementation in academic settings. This group of activities will consist of desk and field research which will result into strategic documents to guide the future work of the partnership. A handbook and an ethical code related to the use of AI in HE will be created. The creation process will be the result of literature research, case studies and participatory research actions. These outputs aim to foster a robust framework for integrating AI in HE, promoting effective digital teaching practices, and ensuring ethical standards, ultimately serving as a blueprint for future applications in universities across Europe. After an initial phase of desk research, the Consortium will then move on with a strategic survey for students, experts and academic staff.
